“Too bad the weather wasn't great, because this house is directly on Chebacco Lake. Our grandchildren did enjoy fishing and kayaking, but it would have been fun to spend hours doing everything.The house was immaculate and the owners so communicative. It was easy to locate the house and convenient for us since our son lives nearby.We can't wait to stay there again !!!!”

“Cute little ranch just down the street from the main road in Gloucester. Slept 4 adults comfortably and had everything you needed. Mile Marker One restaurant is within a half of a mile as well as a nice gas station/convenient store. Nice outdoor seating to watch the boats while having a drink. Under 3 mi from Hammond Castle and about 15 mi from Rockport and Salem.”

“We spent a lovely girls week along the North Shore, with this beautiful little beach house as our home base. It was a little step back in time, which was just what we midwest girls were looking for. Hosts were responsive and helpful, cottage was clean and well-stocked. We were up high enough to get all the views of the ocean and sound, yet just a short walk to the rocky beach, and a few blocks to a sandy public beach. We had unseasonable cold while there, but stayed warm with the fireplace and……

“This little cottage has a perfect location on Wollaston Beach right behind Tony’s Clam Shop. Walking distance to the water as well as a playground for kiddos. Back yard is fairly nice but not fenced and had some glass and nails about, so keep shoes on the little ones! Though hosts were otherwise prepared with a pack and play and high chair, which our family appreciated juggling multiple babies for the family reunion. Kitchen was great to cook in and the back porch was lovely for morning coffee……

“Comfortable place to stay on the water overlooking Boston Harbor and downtown. Sunsets are amazing behind the tall buildings of downtown. Trails close by for walking and sightseeing. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. We had trouble with getting any of the TV's to work and there was an annoying flood light shining on the back deck from the neighbors house all day and night. Other than those two things it was nice to have a house on the water with a fantastic view. ”
