“I really like the location and having our own home that was historic and quaint. 2 pianos, which were both enjoyed. Staying here , you connect with the locals. “The house is very well equipped and comfortable. There is no living room, so if you are wanting to watch a family movie or play video games or something--- not a great house for that. “My family of four had a lovely stay here. The home is comfortable and clean, well appointed, and perfectly located. We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. “Neighborhood felt safe and off street parking for two cars was great! Not enough towels in bathrooms or kitchen and oven took an eternity to preheat. Sofa bed in basement does not fold down, so only able to sleep one person. Location is just short of two miles from MBTA stop, so you'll want to plan accordingly. We didn't spend a ton of time at the house, but it served its purpose as a place to sleep when spending time in Boston over a long weekend!”

“We loved staying in this historic house — a rare treat! Our whole group, and the family who visited us, were so intrigued by the beamed ceilings, the wide floorboards, and the fireplaces. The location is excellent, very convenient for restaurants and site-seeing in Salem and surrounding towns. Our host was very responsive and super pleasant. I’d stay there again! It was an adventure. ”
