“Lovely house! Right near Old Forge but still very private. Loved the three floors with bedrooms and full bathrooms on all levels. The house was so cozy, clean, furnished beautifully, with all needed kitchen/other items right there. The owner was so nice and easy to text with for whatever was needed. Just a really nice spot to explore that side of the lower Adirondack Park. ”

“This property is a dream. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is it. Right on the river, walking distance to hiking, and complete privacy from neighbors. There's a side yard area where my 4 year old could safely play without worrying he'd run toward the water. Access to the water was easy for us, water low now so we practiced fishing on the rocks. “Very cute cabin and very clean. There is no lake view, no lake access and no kayaking from the cabin. Perfect spot for a resting spot if you want to venture around in the Adirondacks. ”

“Nice location right on the lake, and near Old Forge. Cabin is as described in listing. Very pretty view from deck. We enjoyed the kayaks. Near rte 28, convenient but quite a bit of road noise. ”

“Wonderful place for family and ATVs. It is on the trail that will get you anywhere you want to be. The house was much more spacious than it looked in the photos. The ponds were a plus for fishing, and great hosts too! ”

This is close to town yet far enough away in a private setting nestled in the woods. Very quiet area with respectful guests all around us. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice relaxing place to stay for a weekend or even a week away. ”

“Every year we do a family weekend with Kids and Grand kids ,10 people total, the place was easy to find, clean and accommodating as well as close to town.”

“Wow!! I mean Wow!! This house was huge and beautiful. The separate large garage which was the game room was a child hit. My kids didn’t leave that area and they had a blast. Resturants, store, lake, motocross track (high voltage hills mx) was walking distance or within 2 miles away. Can’t wait to rent this house again.”

“Our stay was wonderful. Our whole family enjoyed the beautiful home and the quiet lake where we were able to fish, canoe and enjoy the water. It was extremely close to the town and we were able to spend time out at dinner, Water Safari, and the shops. The only thing I would say would be difficult to find house as it’s hidden and the driveway was a bit tricky but other than that, our entire family enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back!”
