“It was a really cool, unique experience to stay on an island in the middle of the lake. Everything was as described and John (the owner) was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any and all questions. We ended up renting some ATV's from his rental business at a discount. Strongly recommend adding that to your trip.... ”

“Absolutely everything was perfect. Incredibly beautiful view! The fall colors refelcting in the water are amazing. It was a bit chilly at night, so we used the fireplace every night and cuddled up on the couch in front of it every night as well. I really enjoyed having my morning tea on the back porch, looking over the water. Thank you so very much for the wonderful opportunity to share this beautiful property. ”

“Could have been a 5 star rating but:1. we had to shovel 5 inches of snow from walkway and deck to get in the house2. Very small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to the store the first evening we arrived. 3. The request to leave an empty dishwater, beds stripped, garbage removed AND to take with us, and floors vacuumed and swept was a bit much. The house is very cute, comfortable and in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. ”
