“You definitely get what you pay for. This property has not been renovated for nearly twenty years and it shows. The walls in the room needed to seriously be painted, as the paint was all scraped up and chipped. There was one towel in a room for two people. There was a pile of crumbs under the bed, left from at least the previous occupant. There was no blanket on the bed or in the room, just a thin sheet and a thin cover, not much more than a textured sheet. It was below 30° the night we stayed.……

“My husband & I stayed with our son-in-law and his 2 boys. Both boys have a form of muscular dystrophy called Freidriech’s Ataxia and are in wheelchairs. They needed a weekend in nature and the cabin in Pleasant Valley fit the bill. We had to navigate a few stairs but all in all the environment was perfect. Marty, the on-site property manager, was very friendly & responsive. ”
