“We spent our spring break at Bandy Canyon Ranch. It was wonderful! Our family (Dad, Mom, 2 young kids) stayed in the Peacock Cottage. It's recently been renovated and was very comfortable. A quick note: BCR got new owners a few years back, and they're actively investing in the property. They're going through each cottage to upgrade/renovate it. “You get what you pay for I suppose. The hotel feels very old and dirty. The elevator door is the first indicator of the poorly maintained nature of the hotel. The corridors and rooms smell and the back stairs (the way to get out to the various sides of the hotel) are clearly never vacuumed. There is a (now) chargeable laundry service in the hotel. Boy, what an effort to get that started. They like to make life difficult and I am pleased to report they have excelled in the task. The breakfast……
