“Great relaxing getaway for my husband and 2 kiddos. Easy access to the beach and pool was perfect for what we wanted. Beach bum cottage had everything we needed, clean, and great location. We rented a golf cart from the property manager, and that was a fun added bonus to our stay on the island. We will be back!”

“I have nothing but high praises for this property. It was bright and greeted you as soon as you come around the corner. The interior was immaculate and we had virtually no issues with our stay. The bathroom with both a soaking tub and large shower… I LOVED it! When we arrived, the main interior door knob was previously loosened which made closing the door near impossible. I reached out to Vacasa as soon as I noticed it, and quite literally, had a solution in place within 30 minutes. A complete……

“This was my third time at The Whale! I absolutely adore John’s place! The inside is very comfortable and clean. The A/C works great - stays very cool! The beds are super comfortable and the new fridge makes plenty of ice! The hot tub is my favorite feature where you can relax after a long day at the beach and gaze at the sky filled with stars. The location is awesome - very close to restaurants and the grocery. Also, a walking path to the beach across the street is a nice plus! John is a lovely……

“Awesome experience. The house was fantastic. We booked it for two nights and really wished we'd booked longer. Situation is perfect, the island is incredible. Kids loved the pool. Laundry facilities were really welcome (we were over from the UK at the midway point of a long trip around the Southeastern US). Everything we needed was in place. Such a short walk to the beach. Such a short walk to great, well priced, restaurants and bars. Really comfortable beds. Also, comms with the management……

“Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for my wife, my son, and I. The house was immaculately clean and well-appointed, and as a rarity on the island, not too big. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the short 2-3 minute walk to the beach, and from there a short 20 minute stroll to the jetty or the pool. (or a two-minute car ride). The beach chairs and the beach cart were a huge bonus. Thank you, we plan to be back!”

“Tucked away but close to the beach this home was clean, comfy, and a great overall place to stay for 4 nights with 4 of us. We loved the island and how relaxed it always was. The home was a good fit for our dog who could hang out in the fenced yard between the beach and naps. I would stay here again!”
