“Had a great time staying in the Royal Queen Suite for a 3 day vacation. The views by the River were peaceful and the whole general area was nice and quiet. The staff always had quick communication as well.”

“Great property. Best equipped kitchen!!! Excellent place. Great location as it is right @ downtown, but also had quite a bit of noise because of that as well. Will book this place again if I am back to Calgary. ”

“A very beautiful hotel with very helpful and friendly people working there. Located right in downtown, so very walkable to conferences or restaurants. ”

“The staff are friendly and nice, with water dispenser on each floor for easy water refilling. There is also a good pub right next door for quality dining. On the downside, the room and the equipment is a bit worn down (e.g. loose socket, aged building materials) and the room doesn't come with all the sanity packs one usually expected (although they are available upon request). It is also pretty noisy throughout day and night, with party sounds coming from nearby pubs and emergency vehicles'……

“They went above and beyond when they heard this was a mom daughter birthday trip. They had our room ready upon arrival and a piece of cake! Very kind. ”

“6 -10 minutes walking distance to supermarket. Few homeless people 3 blocks away. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful except forgot to give me a morning call on Oct 12, 2023 which l had requested the day before ( late afternoon on Oct 11 ). Recommend to stay at rooms with the river view because the other side of the building has a nearly Fire Rescue Station, quite noisy. ”
