“The property was just as described. It was very easy to get to, clean, and roomy! We stayed for 2 nights. The first night there were 9 of us, and the 2nd night, there were 5. There was plenty of room for everyone! The communication with Scott was great and he was very responsive. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.”

“The setting is amazing, just as pictured. We enjoyed sunsets against the mountains and hiking Needle Rock which we could see from the house. I wish I had realized when booking that it was close to the North Rim of Black Gunnison, but the South Rim where the visitors center is was over an hour away (my fault, but just FYI). The house was clean, although it did feel like you were at someone else’s house (I realize that is what VRBO is, but the really good ones make it feel like it’s your house,……

“Nice property in a nice area”

“The home is comfortable and has great views of the surrounding area but is not as remote as we thought. There was minimal need to communicate with the owner but no real check out instructions or confirmation they received our message when we checked out. With the current bridge work on Hwy 50 you have to go through two traffic relays and those do not go all night, which limits your ability to get out early or leave late. ”

“Convenient and quiet - with everything we needed for a cozy stay. I especially liked the air conditioner/fan in the bedrooms with easy wireless control. ”

It is glamping in a secluded spot yet still convenient for day trips to Telluride, Ouray, Silverton and tons of prime hiking and off roading close by. Save your money and stay here. You will never hear silence or see the stars like this place!”

Very private and peaceful yet so close to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park south entrance. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking or biking. Owners very quick to respond to questions. Our stay was great and we look forward to a return trip.”
