“When thinking of a stay in the South Pacific, this is the place you imagine. Our host , Virginia, is the most pleasant person one could possibly meet. While swimming in the lagoon, our son came face to face with a shark and we met a very curious octopus. The shark was as surprised as our son and scampered off energetically, much to the disappointment of the rest of us. The black tipped sharks are regulars that navigate the lagoon daily. “Christelle was a super host! She was extremely responsive to our questions before and during our trip. The house was perfect for our family. Easy access to the lagoon and snorkeling. It was so nice and fully equipped that our family preferred to eat on the outdoor patio rather than go to the restaurants. The pictures don't do the house or garden justice. “We loved the private beach. This was our daughter's favorite part of the trip. There are other people who have access to the beach as well as you are in a neighborhood of Arue but compared to the public beaches you have a piece of paradise all to yourself. We also enjoyed all the animal life (giant snails, crabs, birds and one day we even saw a sea otter swimming near us). “What an amazing place to stay in Tahiti! It’s away from all the tourist and beautiful. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and were available to help anytime day or night. They offered lots of information and directions about local attractions and would even call places for us since we didn’t speak French. The bungalows were beautiful overlooking the ocean. Someone wrote that it’s very steep getting up to the house, but it’s no steeper than the hills in downtown Seattle. Have to climb a……

“I booked this place in early December for our January stay. I reached out in late December with some questions but never heard from the host. Then reached out again to the host once we had arrived in Tahiti after 1/20 just to see if I could get an answer to my original questions and a few new ones. No answer. I then reached out again the day before our stay as I never received check in instructions. No answer! I then tried the DAY OF our stay. No answer via the VRBO message system nor through……
