We were close enough to beaches, botanical gardens, farmers markets, historical sights, and amenities that we could easily have our fill of adventures and yet still have a quiet oasis to retreat to. We felt instantly at home! When our home fins didn't fit into our carry on luggage, we prepared ourselves to rent and return fins somewhere on the Big Island. It was a happy……

“Loved everything about this place! The location is great. We walked across the street to watch the sunset every evening, always a stunning show. The house was easy to live in, equipped with everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the lanai which looks toward the ocean. There’s beach equipment, and the beaches are a very short drive from the house. There’s also a park at the end of the street where you can get in the water if you’re on the more adventurous side. “We stayed over Christmas break 2024. We arrived and immediately checked out the beach. Saw the tide pools and turtles right away. We were sold. The water was not too rough because of the coral reef break. We usually stay on North shore of Oahu and water is not conducive to all ages and skill levels. This beach accommodated our youngest (9 yr old) to our oldest (70 yr old) and us in between, too!Turtles everyday, fish everyday, an eel on occasion… and whales almost everyday. The beds were……
