“Alder Brook Lodge is a beautiful property with amazing views. We were so impressed by the space we had for all ages to spread out. We loved splashing in the brook and having a pool tourney! Great response time from the host too! Would definitely stay again!!”

“Everything about this house and location was fantastic. I stayed in the house with seven friends, and we were all comfortable and pleased with everything. Communications with the owner were quick and detailed, the house was very clean, the location was perfect (walk to shops, restaurants, creek swimming and tiki bar), front porch was enjoyable, fire pit was thoroughly enjoyed, large kitchen, strong wifi signal, and the detached garage with a long bike rack for storing our 12 bikes was excellent……

“This is our second year staying in this home while we attend an annual event of friends and family directly across the pond. It’s the perfect sanctuary at the end of the day. I absolutely LOVE this home- everything from coffee on the porch to the fully equipped kitchen and the extra cozy beds is wonderful! I run a VRBO property in Rhode Island and I am extra critical of other properties- this one however gets an A! The owners are also incredibly nice and easy to communicate with! ”

“Had a great time, house is very comfortable, clean and well stocked, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The location and decks right on the water cant be beat! Would recommend to others and stay again! A few things I learned that might be useful to others in making plans:- The game warden was on us within 5 minutes of dropping a fishing line in the water - make sure you have the necessary fishing license (thankfully we did)- Fishing was kind of a bust, but that cant be blamed on the house -……

“We were so impressed by this cabin house. The location is surrounded by trees and nature which made for a peaceful, private, escape. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous, very large and accomodating, and spotless. We were so happy we chose this house for our family vacation. I honestly found myself wanting to stay at the home more than wander out. Only downfall, which is miniscule in the grand scheme of things, is it was a little hard to find since its off of a private driveway, off of a……

“We had a lovely stay in this property at Carroll. It was quiet and serene. The house was well equipped with all required amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. The host had even kept some beverages in the fridge which he allowed us to use. The barbecue grill did not have enough propane but I had asked the host about this prior to our stay and he had told us about the best place to get the propane from.The interior of the house has a rustic decor which was very interesting.The only shortcoming……

“Beautiful quiet and peaceful area, me and my daughter enjoyed a mini getaway to Faraway Pond. The adorable cottage had all the amenities needed and we loved the scenic view of the pond and the kayaks. Got some awesome sunset pictures! Mary was super responsive and thoughtful. We wouldn't hesitate to come back for another visit. I bet the Fall foliage is gorgeous. ”
