“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and straightforward. We had a couple of very minor concerns and maintenance was there first thing the next morning (what incredible service!). The house was lovely and everything we were looking for. Two of my family members are extremely allergic to cats. The listing didn't mention cats at the time of our booking - however, that has been changed. The owner did communicate that there was a feral cat near the home before……

“We have been to the Big Island many times and staying Waipio Gardens was one of the best trips we've ever had there. It is a beautiful property that provided serenity, great hiking and amazing beach time. The house is nestled in the jungle in the valley with gorgeous plants, fruit trees, lots of birds and even wild horses. We picked and enjoyed fresh oranges, grapefruit and papaya. The hosts, Sukumar and Kristi, were very helpful in the planning of the trip as well as ferrying us to and from the……

“Really enjoyed the scenic rural country stay! This is a special part of the island. Short walk to Waipio valley lookout and short drive into historic Honakaa. The hosts were very welcoming and the fresh fruit from their garden was an exceptional treat. I loved the dogs, cats, and farmlife all around. A truly unique stay. Would love to stay again for some peace, quiet, and nature :)Mahalo!”

“Everything was as indicated in listing but being there was even better. Amazing location amazing property original FLW furnishings but complimented with the luxury an original FLW home lacked. The master bedroom and bath were roomy and dreamy. The whole house is tastefully appointed. Room for each of the four of us to spread out and be comfortable. We went in mid December and temperatures were perfect. Of our five days there, we loved touring the island and a successful whale watching trip but……
