“We liked our stay at the game reserve, our unit overlooked the river which was very relaxing, we only went on 1 game drive due to not seeing any Elephants or Lions which was disappointing and the Buffalo where very far away, the vehicle for the game drive was very old and difficult to get in and out as I have had 2 hip replacements.”

“When we arrived we had food in the sister lodge next door 2 mins walk away but it was stunning. Braai buffet style. Then had dinner and breakfast as Muluwa on our last night as it was reopened with new management. Absolutely perfect. Cannot fault it. We paid for a couple of the excursions. The sunset picnic was lovely. Whole day game drive was SO worth it with our lovely guide Liza. And massages were so good. This place really felt like a relaxing perfect start to our trip in SA. “We had a fantastic view over Mbombela from our rooms (executive double). Large and well equipped rooms. Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Orange Restaurant on the premises is great, at reasonable prices. We are from Europe and visit Kruger National Park regularly. Loerie's is our preferred stop from or to O.R. Tampo airport in Johannesburg.”

Breakfast could be improved as the scrambled eggs are the only included option and one must pay extra for an omelet or sunny side up eggs. Bring a flashlight for evening return to cabin as it is dark and walkways and stairs are uneven”
