We were 2 couples that paid a week in advance through Hotels.com, confirmation was emailed and I phoned 3 times to confirm because we were going to arrive a bit earlier because we have a wedding close by. When we arrived they did not want to give us our room keys because they said they did not receive payment. We spoke to the 2 girls working there, which was very unproffesional eating chips and handling our phones without any sanitation etc, we showed them proof of payment,……

“My wife and I spent 9 nights at the guest house in the honeymoon suite and would highly recommend it. The room was very comfortable and private. The staff were excellent and very attentive. We were treated very well by Venoth on our arrival, which was late afternoon on a public holiday. As it was our 50th wedding anniversary he surprised us with a bottle of bubbly. Such a nice surprise! Should we need to return to Alberton again from Australia, we will definitely stay there again. Great……

“Amazing staff, I have been using this hotel for the past 3 years when I visit a few times each year. It is actually condo full mini apartment flat with kitchen sink , microwave, fridge and plates etc. kitchen table. Nice balcony for each unit. They have family 2 bedroom suites with 2 bathrooms as a full apartment with kitchen and living room as well above foyer. Price is VERY reasonable. Park your car under your condo , nice set up. “Foxwood House is a historic building with the main house and several out buildings. I had originally booked Coach House. we arrived in the dark (cause it sets early here) and basically just unpacked, exhausted from long flight. TV was not working so the manager moved us to Onze Emmie suite. WOW loved it. had a lovely patio we enjoyed. large room, large bathroom.the surrounding area is very wild with flowers and vines and walking paths. I'm sure people could find fault with it but I loved the 2……
