“First time visiting windermere and booked this hotel for me and the Mr and it did not disappoint! Was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were modern and well decorated and the hot tub in with steam room was just perfect! We enjoyed the breakfast and loved the fact the hotel was not far from the lake. “We very much enjoyed our two night stay that included an amazing hike that started right out front of the Inn. Our room was lovely but a tad noisey as the Inn is right on the road. It quiets down at night. We had realfast and dinner on site and all were delicious! A cozy spot very easily reached without a car.”

“Absolutely gorgeous stay at Rum Doodle. Staff couldn’t have been nicer, felt welcomed from the moment they met us at the door. The room was decorated beautifully, exactly what we needed for a few days away. All sorts of amenities and extras - the breakfast options were vast and really tasty. The only thing worth mentioning is parking is up a very tight small hill and when there is a lot of cars in it does get a little difficult. Nothing that would stop us from making a return though.
