“Less than five min walk to slopes. Cute house”

“We really had a nice weekend. It is super pet friendly and our dogs enjoyed their weekend as well. There are walking trails for the dogs and there is a dog park about 15 min away. They have couch covers for the dogs which was great and looked better than the mismatch of sheets I always bring to cover. We took in a show in manistee and spent an afternoon in traverse city. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. There are plenty of towels too. The sauna was great and such a nice……

“This is a great place for people who are not interested in fussiness or frills and just want to enjoy a comfortable cottage in a gorgeous, great location. You’ve got to bring along a lot of your own stuff (towels, dish soap, sponge, bath soap, paper towels, extra toilet paper, that sort of thing), there’s no air conditioning, and my Verizon phone signal was better than the wifi even at full strength. But that’s not what we came for! We came to enjoy the area, and it was perfect for us. Very tidy……

“We booked this cabin in June 2024. The view was wonderful to wake up to each morning. We used the fire pit for s’mores one night. We also used the kayaks and paddle boards. The cabin was exactly as pictured. It’s a short drive to Frankfort, which has lots of cute shops and good places to eat. I highly recommend Stormcloud Brewery for a delicious meal. I also highly recommend staying at this cabin. We will definitely book it again for future trips!”

It’s about 1/2 mile to Bear Lake and not really walkable as it’s a modestly busy highway, but it’s a quick drive and easy access to the various sights of the area. “This place was fabulous for our group of 6! The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was a hit with several of us. We did have a snafu with the dishwasher, it decided to not want to be unlocked. I messaged Tammy , she and Mike happened to be down the street checking on another rental. This was Friday night at 9:30, mind you & they came right away! They were so kind and helpful! The dishwasher ended up needing to be replaced, but it was no big deal for us. Thank you……

“Cozy little place with all the things you need to enjoy your stay. With a view of the river just out of your front door! I would often walk with my dog down by the water in the evening and the north channel brewery is a short walk away as well if you want some food, craft brew and good atmosphere as well as TJ’s pub and other nice places down town! And just a short drive from the beach!”
