“A weekend away spent up the hill from a few of our favorite places to eat and a 10 minute walk to the incline/barr trail. The host was wonderful and responsive, we enjoyed the hot tub and the fact it felt secluded while being right in town. The space is inviting and the bed was really comfortable for being small. My husband is 6’4 and I’m 5’10, so we did have to duck under the doors as it’s an older building with around 6ft door frames, but for the price and convenience of walking Manitou we……

“This is an old hotel with minimal upgrading. There are only a few rooms set side by side in a row above a very busy road. The rooms are clean and well kept. The property manager on check in must have mentioned no smoking 8 times in my 5 minute conversation, also the reason he gave for asking for a $100 deposit on my card. I appreciate the no smoking policy, I agreed with it, but it felt accusatory, and I don't smoke! Customer service fell short.”

“The room smelled mildew because of how old the property was. The renovation was done nicely. The towels were thin. Could use a towel rack in the bathroom. The outlet in the bathroom was behind the mirror. The room is decorated nicely. The price was perfect. Really enjoyed our stay. ”

“great location - walk right across to main street in Manitou. Housekeeping in room everyday, turn down service with chocolates included, newspaper in the morning; nice touches. They do a nice job maintaining a vintage property. Rooms are nice with fireplaces and really nice large bathrooms with double sinks, whirlpool tub and powerful showerheads. We stayed 6 nights and I would stay there again.”
