“Terrible the first night we were given a hut which was very poorly equipped. Avoid Purple Rain which was aptly named as the combined tiny room with toilet and shower wash basin not compartmentalised was leaking water which flowed into the other room a bedroom. The hut was very cold we slept fully clothed … water leak awful no hot water no internet. Internet did not work in the separate restaurant lodge .. chairs in Restarant were wonky canvas and food mediocre. The staff helpful and sorry for……

“The Izaak Walton is just an amazing hotel and a great place to stay you get a very warm welcoming from the front desk staff and all the other hotel staff members too, they all make you feel at home too, the rooms are excellent very clean and spacious great WiFi service too, and the beds are so comfortable. The hotel is set in woodland and has a relaxing setting and calming, the restaurant is brilliant, great buffet breakfast too and a good choice menu for lunch and dinner there's always a……

“Apart from it been a good hotel what stood out for me was the friendliest and welcoming staff from the management to the cleaners they were absolutely brilliant, Jacinta,Hilda,Mekane,Christine,Rose, Yvonne and Alphonse the security guy all amazing,thank you all I'll will miss your warm friendship, the Mavvel is a excellent hotel be it for business or a tourist like me i really do highly recommend a stay here, oh and great breakfast, restaurant and bar and hope to visit again when in Embu, thanks……
