“Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)”

“If Mario is cooking then you know you’re in for a treat. Everyone was amazing to interact with and more than welcoming throughout the stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was warm, the staff were amazing and the food was some of these we had on our trip. Mario made us a dinner from scratch and it was much more than expected. Very quiet and relaxing area that has beautiful scenery in every direction. Mario set the bar extremely high for what we expected in the rest of the trip. We……

“The spa experience was very good. The room was comfortable, very clean, and well appointed. The restaurant offerings were very good. The main attraction is the hot spring pool. It's an historic wonder. The sulphur smell is omnipresent, I got used to it. The therapeutic effect of my stay was real. I will return. ”
