“The kids had so much fun exploring the house, with the cool grand staircase and the "secret" staircase and all of the ornately decorated rooms. The house was charming and fun both inside and out. We had a large group but there were enough kitchen supplies. It was also nice there was a dishwasher and laundry to wash dishes and dish towels. The only reason it's not a straight 5 star is because we left a therapeutic ice roller in the freezer and the host never responded to my messages about it.”

The furniture was comfortable in the areas you wanted to hang out, the decorative pieces were in great condition and from the late 50’s/early 60’s.You feel like you are in the middle of the woods, but town is just down the road. River is in the backyard, the hot tub was in perfect condition, kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a large group, & the property overall was very comfortable. “What a location! Right in the heart of Delaware, you can walk to everything! This place is brand new, super clean, and ready for whatever you have planned. Super high ceiling (like 15 feet) makes it feel even more spacious and comfortable, and the rooms are a great size. Be aware that it’s up a couple of flights of stairs, but it’s totally worth it for the prime location (and I’m saying that with three kids—and my almost due pregnant wife agrees). We will definitely stay here again, we loved……
