She quickly replied to us and was there in a jiffy to help us with the door one evening. ”

“We loved the mudbrick Adobe Vista house for its location and old West Texas feel. We stayed for a short 3-day weekend to do a day trip to BBNP. The location of this house was perfect. Alpine has everything you need to prep for the trip and being located close to HWY 118 made for an easy departure out of town. The house is well apportioned and outfitted for cooking and making a great cup of coffee or tea and the claw-footed tub was perfect respite after a day of hiking in the desert.I'd say……

“Staying in Alpine was a pleasant surprise. Came for a short first time visit to Big Bend and the Observatory. This was a perfect location for 2 couples.The units were placed in a great formation to allow for privacy and enjoyment of the balcony.Can’t wait to return.”

“Clean property. Amazing stars. Peace and quiet. Ft Davis and Observatory are musts. Friendly people.”

“Perfect property to relax. Local memorabilia and historic items used in decorating very cool. Outdoor fireplace and hot tub with cafe table and chairs made visiting a dream. Open kitchen and living area made meals and lounging with family easy. All furnishings comfortable and thoughtful. We would stay here again!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cool property. Loved the beautiful hardwood floors and the decor. Also, the reading nook in the master bedroom was incredible. The location of this place could not be better; right across from the historic Paesano Hotel and in the heart of the eclectic downtown of Marfa. ”

“Loved the house! Layout, back area and rooms. A/c in top right room was buzzing loud, could have used but heads up. Coffee lovers; Bring own coffee set up, electric kettle and coffee maker didn’t work. Kuerig on site but pods super old. Was told coffee was good but nah. The fridge didn’t keep cold and was told not to adjust temp. Kept most things in our coolers. If it wasn’t for Marfa prob a different review. Had a good time with fam/friends. Again, cool house!”

“It was nice for what we had planned: centrally located. ”

“I hadn’t been to Alpine in 30 years, so when I booked this spot, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The location is fantastic with the grocery store around the corner. There is parking for two vehicles behind the home, and the house is fully fenced. The backyard is quiet and was great for a morning coffee and bird watch! Inside, the property was clean and adorable with a coffee maker, all the appliances, and dishes. There was attention to detail with treats for my dog and bags to pick up waste. ……

“This was our first experience with renting a VRBO and we were so impressed. The property was exactly as described and very clean. It was easy to get to and check in and communication with the management company was a breeze. We had fun exploring Alpine and the surrounding areas like Big Bend. We would highly recommend Alpine as a destination and most assuredly this property to stay at. We hope to go back soon. ”
