“My husband and I spent a weekend in Sausalito and San Francisco, and The Gables Inn was the perfect place to stay on our trip. We stayed in the Cedar Room, which was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Walking outside, you see the wonderful view of San Francisco across the Bay right away. The staff was very friendly, helped us with parking and recommendations for restaurants. If you’re into architecture, history, community, gourmet breakfast (and convenient location), give it a try. Absolutely delightful, conscientious staff, and unmatched decor, this lodging added a layer of value to our San Francisco experience for which we found worth and we are grateful.”

“Great location, walkable, and there’s enough transport to get around the city. There’s many food spots, cafes, grocery stores, and a pharmacy within 10 minutes walking distance. Facilities were clean and well maintained and staff was responsive. Communication is done through text and the doors use codes instead of keys. Tip: put your lock codes on your home screen of your phone so you don’t have to search through the text messages. Overall, a great experience and the guests I stayed with all……

“The property was small, had adequate parking and the rooms were clean. There is absolutely no sound proofing. You could hear everything on the rooms on either side of us. The neighbors to the left started moving items at 7 am and I thought they were dismantling the room it was so loud.”

“We stay there for two nights, the WiFi wasn’t working which was pain,toilet cistern was leaking water at the first night, we have to turn off the tap on the wall, it was repaired the next day. Our room was facing the street, it was annoying whenever cars passing by at the night, apart from that the hotel services was good, the girls at reception were kind and helpful , the location of the hotel is quite central ”
