“It was my birthday. My wife loves Sausalito, but again it was my birthday, i wanted to go to another desination. However, i decided to go to Sausalito if I could find an affordable place to stay. I was looking for a clean safe place for us to stay overnight. This was perfect. We had a wonderful stay. We checked in around 6 pm, the front desk clerk was very kind and courteous. The room was clean, quiet and affordable. We were able to walk to the restaurant of my choice nearby for a great birthday……

“First, we brought three large pieces luggage for this long trip. The hotel offered us a room on the sixth floor without helping us carry our luggage or even telling us how to go to the sixth floor. The highest floor the elevator could reach was the fourth floor, so we had to carry our luggage a long way up to the sixth floor using the stairs, and the next day, down to the first floor as well. Second, I’m a VIP member of Hotels.com, and the website clearly stated that this hotel would provide VIP……

“It was a very nice stay. The beds and pillows were really nice and comfortable. It's older, but it has it's charm. It's right next to the freeway and you can hear the cars, but otherwise it was very quiet and peaceful. The only thing I wish it had was bedside lamps. Otherwise our room was had two rooms, one for each bed and I really liked that. The managers were very nice and helpful as well. ”
