“The hosts provide a perfect place to stay. It is cozy, but seems more roomy than the pictures suggest. Each room is enhanced by tastefully chosen art, furniture and unusually varied lighting. The kitchen has a surprising amount of functionality, not least of which is how attractive it is. We didn't cook since Alameda has excellent, affordable restaurants nearby, We slept well.”

“I was only there for one evening. I wanted to be close to the Oakland airport for my Monday mid morning flight to avoid traffic. It’s a perfect place for that. No need to get on the freeway and just a short 4-5 mile drive down the hill. Very pretty area too. Oh and the water pressure for the shower was awesome and heats up quick. “We loved this apartment. The unit is beautiful and stylish and very quiet. The bathroom especially is full of luxurious high end touches (like double shower heads and heated floors). The porch features gorgeous flowers and lovely resident hummingbirds. The location is ideal: great coffee at Spike’s and markets for essentials right around the corner; everything the Castro has to offer nearby; easy access to Muni at Castro Station; a short lovely walk to Dolores Park and the Mission. “We had an incredible time at this little cottage. The host is so friendly and helpful, making sure we had a travel crib for our 1 year old and giving lots of toddler-friendly suggestions for activities that we followed and really enjoyed. The cottage is cool and roomy but cosy, with a very comfy couch and nice open living area. Kitchen is well-equipped and well-stocked making it easy to cook, and the location is great as you can walk into town in 10 mins. Beds are comfy and cottage is quiet……
