“It's located on the waterfront of Lago D'Orta, and Isola San Guilio in an eye shot distance. Nice vista on the lake. The property is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. I fee like this area better than Lake Como in which is less touristy and more quiet and better for relaxation”

“We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this charming hotel. The lakeside position is fantastic - it’s definitely worth paying more to get a lake view room. The room was quiet & clean with a comfortable bed and good linen - I think a proper feather duvet. We had a small balcony which was good for reading. The roof-top bar served pizza and light meals. We dined in the smart restaurant one evening - expensive but a lovely treat. The staff were very polite and friendly. Parking free in the hotel car……

“Une bonne surprise pour une réservation estivale de passage, compte tenu des précédents avis, qui nous paraissent sévères. L’accueil s’est avéré très correct. Chambre immense, literie confortable en grande largeur, propreté, décoration simple avec du mobilier Ikea neuf, ascenseur, petit balcon sympa avec une vue (franchement symbolique) sur le lac d’Orta. Effectivement, il faut compter 12 minutes depuis le village d’Orta pour rejoindre l’hôtel par une route étroite et sinueuse mais pas……

“Ce B&B est génial. Il se trouve en altitude, en y accédant par la route on a des superbes vues ! Les hôtes sont fantastiques, la chambre est grande, on a accès à un super petit-déjeuner, on nous a offert de l'eau, café et indiqué un très bon restaurant pas cher à 3 min à pied ! “Hotel recien reformado pero con habitaciones demasiado pequeñas para su categoria. Control de temperatura no regulable en la habitación. Balcon inexistente ya que se trata de una ventana alta con una reja en la parte baja. Buena ubicación cerca del lago aunque la carretera separa el hotel de la playa. Personal muy amable. Wifi con problemas de conexion. Buen desayuno en salon con vistas.”

“My family and I had a lovely experience staying at La Cucchetta. We only stayed for one night but I would recommend this accommodation for a weekend or longer. The grounds and the views of the lake are spectacular, and the staff is lovely and friendly. I will book again if I have the chance to go back to the area. ”
