“This was our 2nd visit to the Lodge, and it was a fantastic adventure again. We are older women, and 3 in our group decided to all sleep downstairs in order to avoid navigating the stairs, so I had the loft all to myself. The couches are comfy!It took us a few days to realize that we could stream videos of rivers and nature on YouTube on the projector, so we could feel connected to the outside world again. “GREAT location in the heart of downtown Salem. The property is basically an older style two-bedroom apartment with great high ceilings and two huge windows in the living room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and show was terrific. It's definitely an older unit, but very comfortable and clean. The unit also had a washer (very old. needs to be replaced) and a dryer that came in handy.The owners live across the hall. We met them and they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.……

As mentioned in a previous stay with this host, there is a notable attention to detail here. It is green out of every window, and skylights that open add clean, country air. “Check in was very easy. Angela sent a video to my phone on how to access the opening of the doors. The loft was immaculate and very welcoming. Location to downtown Salem is right out your door. We never even used the car for the two days we were there. The beds were very comfortable the sheets were so soft. Kitchen was well stocked. Wi fi worked terrific.
