Other than quick changes of the shower water temperatures, I couldn’t be more pleased with the cleanliness, charm, comfort (couch is a sleep magnet zone)and conveniences. Highly recommended. “While the inside of the cottage was incredibly clean and comfortable and even perfect for co-operative gaming on the couch, the beautiful garden out front was the perfect location to have dinner and decompress from a long day of adventuring. The cottage is not far from downtown Salem, with a very easy walk through a safe neighborhood to everything of interest. The kitchen inside was perfect for making breakfast and lunch, and the beds were comfy. The charm of the Lily Cottage- inside and out-……

“Very clean and inviting. My only issue was The lack of downstairs seating. The overstuffed chair could have used an ottoman because the chair height was uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. Another condo chair or a love seat would have been great. I was supposed to have another person with me and if they came we wouldn’t have been able to stay because lack of seating. It is a one person cottage the way it’s set up. “Excellent location: walkable to downtown; easy access to US highways for day trips (w/in one hour of the coast); quiet, quaint neighborhood. Excellent property: immaculate, well-furnished; kitchen modern, spotless, a cook's heaven--you could effortlessly prepare and host a seven-course, Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. If the host did long-term leases, I'd rent Vine Street Cottage for a year and forego apartment hunting.”

“This property is super cute and has everything you need for a short stay. We appreciated having the basic spices available in the cupboard and quality cookware/dinnerware. The k cups were a plus also. The bathroom and kitchen were of substantial size and the bed was very comfortable. The only part we didn’t like was the yard area as you felt like you were right in the owners back yard so it was uncomfortable to be out there. It was set up very nicely, though, with a very cool water feature.……
