“This is one of the most quaint places I've stayed at. Building was built in early 1900's but has been refurbished inside with modern features but retains the old craftsman look and feel. Our room was larger than I expected. Bathroom was spacious and modern. The sink was smaller than expected but made sense actually. Extremely quiet. Monterey has very little activity. Still, it was a perfect place to stay because we were here to ride the Cass Scenic Railroad. The breakfast is definitely a……

“Very comfortable cottage. Kitchen was well equipped. Apple TV took a little bit to figure out. Beds were very comfortable. Great place to unwind and recharge.”

“Very clean! Nice setting. Not many eating options though. Very rigid regarding checking in not a minute before 3:00. Nice breakfast delivered to our room was nice touch. But Expedia needs to correct the information regarding the restaurant on premises. It seems to be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked great. ”

“though this is an older property, it is obvious the owners are trying to keep it up. the room is newly painted, the parking lot is brand new. The beds were very comfortable and everything very clean. We had a 2 bed unit, and it came with a full kitchen! I definitely would return here and recommend it. ”

“My wife and I stayed here in May 2025. We loved it, and would definitely stay here again, if we were in the area. The inn itself was great, but Martha (the hostess) was the real highlight of this place. She was very welcoming, and certainly had a servant's heart. The breakfast she made was outstanding. And the cookies were delicious, too! The room we stayed in was very good (including the bathroom), and we loved sitting on the front porch during our first night there. The view of the mountains……
