“Comfortable”

“My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! ”

“We stayed at this property for my birthday weekend and it was fabulous! We cooked several meals and the kitchen had EVERYTHING! The house is nestled in the woods, with beautiful surroundings and the house is so cozy. I would definitely stay here again!”

“This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy nature and the company of the people you are traveling with. Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. Along with many wineries.”

“We loved our stay at Lost Creek Bluebird. We didn't expect the commute to the marina but loved the seclusion of the house. We had some of our family come in from St. Louis and some came from NE Arkansas and the house was a perfect meeting place where we were all under one roof. We played games, roasted marshmallows, made cupcakes and just enjoyed each others company.”

“We enjoyed the 2024 total Solar Eclipse from the front of the property. It was a perfect place to enjoy it. No crowds no issues. We went on a hike at Pickle Springs Nature Area after the event. Farmington is near by to drop in and grab some food or coffee. Perfect place for the two days to get away from it all.”

“Family of 5; we all loved it! Kids even unplugged & spent time w/ the grownups! Robin communicated to us about an issue prior to arrival, but it was all fixed and we had no troubles. Loved that the cabin is away from other homes. Beautiful setting. Cows weren't any trouble, didn't have smells either and they were in the pasture. Possibly because it's November. I didn't see mixing bowls or a wire whisk, but everything else was supplied. Wonderful selection of videos & games. Great weekend;……
