“Absolutely gorgeous stay at Rum Doodle. Staff couldn’t have been nicer, felt welcomed from the moment they met us at the door. The room was decorated beautifully, exactly what we needed for a few days away. All sorts of amenities and extras - the breakfast options were vast and really tasty. The only thing worth mentioning is parking is up a very tight small hill and when there is a lot of cars in it does get a little difficult. Nothing that would stop us from making a return though. “This proved to be one of the superior B&Bs we have ever used. Apart from the comfort and cleanliness we discovered two small brownies and two KitKats on the tea tray. “My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping. The breakfasts are fantastic and certainly worth the indulgence. It’s located in a lovely village, with breweries, pubs, tea rooms and local craft shops. I highly recommend a stay. ”
