“I loved this sweet little house! It had everything I could possibly need and was so peaceful! I enjoyed the birds and the ground hog in the morning as well as the tree frogs at night. The bed was so comfy I will definitely be back next year! ”

“Love location and owners. Some adjustments are needed, this isn’t camping it’s glamping and you cannot do it halfway. Need more AC in second floor units like this one, our unit was well over 100 degrees when we arrived and never got below 80 degrees inside even when temps dipped outside at night, very uncomfortable. Husband left with our dogs on second night because it was too hot for him and them to even get comfortable enough to sleep. Hot water smelled like sewage when running and no hot……

“My husband and I along with our newborn recently stayed at chads place. We stayed for two nights and had an amaziing time spending a few days away from home. The cottage had everything you would need and more. Perfect location to downtown Bedford and Shawnee state park. My husband and I loved fishing right on the property and relaxing at the campfire at night! We can’t wait to plan our next trip and be able to utilize the bikes and kayaks! “My friends and I enjoyed our stay! Place was clean, cozy and comfortable with a nicely equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the back deck overlooking the water and saw a bald eagle fly over. We had a lovely Fall getaway. Property is located just outside of town, so convenient to shopping and restaurants. ”

“This was an absolutely beautiful property!!! Loved all The farm animals (horses, chickens, roosters, peacocks and piggies!). The cabins were so well kept and cozy. The property itself was absolutely beautiful if you enjoy animals and the great outdoors! We did not want to leave!!! We will absolutely be coming back to this property! Also Raystown Lake is stunning and we hiked numerous trails that were within a half hour of the property and had an amazing experience!! I would definitely……

“It was just what we needed. We were in the area to watch our son play baseball with the Altoona Curve, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Being right on the Lower Trail was an added bonus that we used for some convenient exercise. We hope to stay there again!”

“The house was great for our family. It had two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Plus two other bedrooms. Beautiful deck. The fenced in yard allowed play location for the kids. I saw on other comments mention of dust webs...true if you look for them... but welcome to the woods. Overall it has a clean feeling. Advice, bring hand towels... there arent any in the 4 bathrooms in the house. If we go back to Raystown...wed reserve this house again!”
