“I really liked how the property was tucked back off of the street. It was cozy and quaint little guest house. My only complaint was the water. It had a strong sulfur smell. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The main bed was very comfortable and lots of things to do, even on the rainy days! The owner was very responsive to messages. ”

“My husband and I along with our newborn recently stayed at chads place. We stayed for two nights and had an amaziing time spending a few days away from home. The cottage had everything you would need and more. Perfect location to downtown Bedford and Shawnee state park. My husband and I loved fishing right on the property and relaxing at the campfire at night! We can’t wait to plan our next trip and be able to utilize the bikes and kayaks! “Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. ”

“This place is lovely. The owners are very considerate. I have stayed at alot of places and this one was very peaceful. In the morning enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, or tea on the porch and watch the fog roll off the water. It is about 10 mins from Bedford and that little town has alot to offer. Thank you for shringnthis lovely place”
