“The host and property were amazing. The host thought of every little detail to make our Stay feel comfortable and like a home away from home. Our eight-year-old son enjoyed the playground, the pond where he caught serval fish (catch and release), boar games and so much more. We look forward to staying again at the end of the summer. ”

“My family and I had a great time!! The house was clean and stocked with the necessities. My boys loved the loft and the games. The deck and fire pit were awesome!! We were disappointed that we couldn’t walk out to the dock because the lake level caused the walk way to be under water but that did not deter us from the fun we had! The only thing I can say is that there’s not enough seating in the living room for everyone to chill comfortably but we were so busy it really was only a minor thing. My……

“Chris and Chuck were excellent hosts. The property was ready for us and they provided great communication about arrival as well as a bunch of recommendations for the area. The house had everything we needed for us and our kids! We would definitely return. We had easy access to Mammoth Cave National Park which was the purpose of our trip. Highly recommend this house! ”

The neighborhood was full of really friendly people and we were reasonably close to all sorts of fun things. The grocery store was really easy to get to, there were a million dollar general stores nearby if we just needed something simple like a bag of ice, and despite the lake levels being higher than usual my girls loved playing in the water. “This property is beautiful, we all wished we could stay longer and just enjoy the deck and fire pit a little more. House is very clean. Beds were comfortable. Be aware the bunk beds are not in a room, they're under the stairs, so not a lot of privacy. There were 8 of us in the house and it was snug-I don't think having the 16 it says it can accommodate would be comfortable. The owner is extra communicative. The lock on the door took a hot minute to figure out but once we did we had no issues the……

“Home was excellent, clean and well laid out. Out of the last ten home I have rented at Barren & Nolin. This is the fourth one on Bailey’s Point and so far the best. Only thing wrong is that it wasn’t mine.”

“We loved the house and that it is located on a working farm no more than 30 minutes away from all the Mammoth Cave hot spots and even closer to Bowling Green attractions. Enjoyed the rural atmosphere, the pool, and watching the cows play. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“Trip had to be refunded due to severe storm the night before arrival. Was able to partially access outside of the property before deciding to refund. Tree limbs blocked entrance to vrbo and driveway. Storm knocked power out for entirety of weekend. Very nice location. All communications with owner and VRBO refunding was quick and easy.. Will try to rebook in future. ”
