“This was a wonderful place to spend three weeks cross country skiing. It is right next to a trail that connects to virtually all others in the trail system so we could ski out the door when we didn't want to drive to the more distant trailheads. The property was clean with new everything, and the host was exceptionally responsive to queries. We are looking forward to staying here again on future trips to the Methow.”

“Fabulous property! The right amount of nice touches without too much fuss. Super comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk to the outdoor rink and to downtown Winthrop via a footpath that runs through the neighborhood. Lovely time... we'll definitely be back.”

“This is our third year staying at Winthrop Basecamp, and we love the location and the space. It's an easy walk to the store and the town, and the ski/walking trail is just steps away from the front door. The space is bright, open, and the kitchen has all the basics and then some. Sunflower Resort is conveniently located a short walk from the Winthrop trailhead and a short distance to the local grocery store, restaurants, and shops. “This is a lovely house ! The outside is a bit dull, but the inside is full of surprises. It has been modernized without losing it's charm and character. Fresh paint, hardwood floors, new windows and blinds, new tiling in bathroom etc. Very clean, very comfortable and very spacious. As a summer renter, I would have liked an outdoor area to sit. “Our family of six including parents in their 80s had a magical time at the Happy Trails cabin. The log construction is beautiful and reinforces the cozy, warm feeling of the home. We've been staying in the Mazama area for the last 30 years and love being near the Country Store and all the Mazama area has to offer.
