“I think this was the 4th or 5th time here and i think it's perfect in every way. Secluded yet close to the bright lights of Monterey, in case you need something or want a restaurant. We especially love the fire pit area, and the owner is the best!”

“We enjoyed our time at the Bears Den. We were looking to escape and relax and that was easily done here. A few notes: we were short on the number of bath towels initially but found the extra bath towels in the dryer. Unfortunately they had sat wet in the dryer and were musty-requiring washing before being used.The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items for the most part but there were no pot holders which would have come in handy with the countertop oven—there was only one dish towel. “We had a great time at this house! Plenty of bedrooms and baths for two families and to have other family for Easter! This is the second or third staying at this house and have loved it everytime! Appreciate snacks and plenty to cook and have meals with family.”
