“Short trip but enjoyed the beautiful scenery ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this property. The creek and wooded area was fun for our kids to explore and the firepit was perfect for smores every night (with metal sticks provided!). While the kitchen isn't huge, it definitely had plenty of space for our needs and was well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, etc. The beds have the softer memory foam toppers and there were more than enough linens for us to use. Any communication we had with the host was quick and easy.”

“This was a short get away just to relax. We couldn't believe how thoughtful our host was. She thought of everything, and I do mean everything! We had a wonderful stay and were very appreciative of how nice the cabin is. We loved it and will be booking again in the future! Perfect place to just go and be quiet. “My mom, SIL, and I took a much needed three day weekend away to visit the Maple Festival and spend some girl time together. The Cabin at Back Creek is the perfect spot to do that. The proximity to the sites of the festival is perfect; we didn’t feel like we were in the car too long and the views along the drive are amazing. The Cabin is perfectly situated on the creek to enjoy the sounds of water and birds while relaxing on the porch or in the hot tub. Highly recommend a visit if you want to get……

“This house is very nice and clean. The location is right off the highway and is great if you are skiing at Snowshoe or attending other events in West Virginia and Virginia. We were there for the Maple Festival located in Monterey, VA. Overall the house is as it appears in the listing with one little thing all should know. The second queen bedroom is not accessible from the main house. The entrance is located from the back deck and you do have to walk in the elements. If you have little……
