“My husband and I stayed here for my birthday / Valentines Day. It was the perfect little cozy getaway from the moment we walked in the doors! Dinah had a fire going for us so it was already nice and warm, the cabin was super clean and looked just like the pictures if not better! Kitchen was stocked with utensils and cookware and made cooking our meals a breeze. No service but the WiFi was fast and easy to connect to. Absolutely zero complaints, we both loved it and will be coming back! ”

“We were looking for a quiet, out in the country place to celebrate our anniversary and came across this quaint cabin just outside Monterey, VA. The cabin is cozy, and it worked well for just the two of us. We took advantage of the hot tub which was very well maintained. We also lit up the firepit on another evening while watching the moon rise over the hills. The cabin is just a few minutes from Monterey (which sits in the valley just below the cabin.) Monterey is a small but interesting town……

“Property was well maintained and perfect for a weekend ski getaway! Our group stayed comfortably in the cabin and Marie was wonderful at being responsive, even letting us into the cabin early when our first day of skiing turned out to be a bust! Highly recommend this place!”

“This little rustic cabin was warm and inviting. Had most of everything you'd need. It is very secluded right on the Crab Run stream which was rolling while we were there from all of the rain. When you walked out on the lovely covered porch it always sounded like rain even if it wasn't raining due to the rolling stream. What a relaxing sound with your morning coffee on the porch. The gas wood stove made it nice and toasty inside and the large fire pit was wonderful for relaxing outside. All……
