“My mom, SIL, and I took a much needed three day weekend away to visit the Maple Festival and spend some girl time together. The Cabin at Back Creek is the perfect spot to do that. The proximity to the sites of the festival is perfect; we didn’t feel like we were in the car too long and the views along the drive are amazing. The Cabin is perfectly situated on the creek to enjoy the sounds of water and birds while relaxing on the porch or in the hot tub. Highly recommend a visit if you want to get……

“This hits all the check marks of our requirements for our 17th wedding anniversary. The solar-powered cottage on top of a hill is cute, warm and comfortable. We came prepared with sleeping bags and food to cook at their grill. The toilet/sink in their barn met our needs. The highlight of the place is the view both from the cottage and from hiking the lookout of the property. Their dogs, goats and cows are friendly. Lynn and Buddy gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We will be back and will……

“I brought my daughter to the area for a horse show at Virgina Horse Show (about a 10 min drive). This cabin feels brand new, but has incredible charm. As I understand, its a new build, but using very old logs.It has all the necessary comforts of a brand new home with incredible charm. I felt very safe. The only neighbors are cows! I only wish we had more time to visit.The owner was very responsive to a small issue and communicated constantly. Wonderful place!”
