“This was a perfectly appointed, exquisitely clean, convenient getaway space. In fact, in my imagination, I would love to use it as a home base for remote work in the DC area. So convenient to everything and such a quiet and cute, modern interior in an classic walkup in Old Town. The only issue, which I think is VRBOs, is that we never received check in instructions through the VRBO messaging system and had to contact the property directly. But everything worked out fine! Two days before our stay the manager contacted us and told us the hot water heater was broken and no hot water would be available during our stay. As it was too late to book another residence, we asked for a discount so that we could pay use showers elsewhere. The manager promised us a ~30% discount for the inconvenience.
