“We had a fantastic stay in Old Town Alexandria! The rental was spotless, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located just a short walk to shops, waterfront restaurants, and historic sites. The host Renée was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in seamless and the entire experience stress-free. It truly felt like a comfortable home away from home. “This is a very charming old home in Alexandria. Our stay here was homey and relaxing; the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was sufficient for making a few meals. Easy walk to the Waterfront down Prince Street (although I prefer going down Duke), and about a 15 minute walk to Whole Foods, Old Town, Good Restaurants, etc. This house is situated along Route 1, so there is a lot of traffic which I find to be very pleasant. “Our family absolutely loved our stay at Duvall House! The home was spacious enough for all 8 of us and had modern and spacious bathrooms and kitchen. The home is beautiful and filled with antiques and reproductions that make it easy to envision the past. Old Town Alexandria is a charming location that is filled with cute shops and eateries a short walk away from the house. Yet it is also easy to go into DC to see the sights there. “The house is nice but the kitchen is very small. We didn’t mind because we went out for all meals but breakfast. The neighborhood is very nice, safe and quiet. We only had a chance to walk to the river area one day due to the extreme heat we encountered that week. But it was such a great location had we been able to use your bikes or walk like we planned. Love the area and would definitely visit again.”

“The house was being used by someone else at the time of my reservation. I never got the code to the house but i was charged the money. And i never got an answer from the property manager. If you are looking to rent this property save your money because i was scammed.”
