“A unique experience. Staying in a treehouse was very high on the novelty scale. Expect a slight slope in the floor, and don't forget to close the windows before you go to bed as the monkeys are sneaky and will steal any fruit that you leave on the dining table. A fun night. If you are averse to a staircase, this might not suit, you though.”

“굉장한 숙소였습니다. 사장님 부부가 굉장히 친절하게 이래저래 많은 것들을 알려주시고, 조식은 맛있게 준비해주십니다. 과일 차 토스트 계란이지만, 항상 만족스럽게 먹었습니다. 뷰도 사진과 같고, 엘라 자체가 고지대기 때문에, 더위를 많이 타는 저도 에어컨 없이도 충분히 지낼 수 있습니다. 얼떨결에 일박을 더 했지만, 충분히 그럴 가치가 있는 곳이라고 생각합니다. 숙소로 올라가는 길이 계단이기 때문에, 캐리어를 들고 가는건 힘들 수도 있을 것 같습니다. 저는 백팩이라 큰 문제가 없었는데요. ”

“Great location, right next to the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people. Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities. If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you. It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience. We enjoyed :)”

“This property is incredibly situated with an amazing view down Ella Gap. The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. You will need your mosquito repellant. The staff are really lovely and can't do enough for you, helping to make plans for hikes, arranging transport, doing any washing you have- they are really spot on. The owner treats his guests like his own family members, me and my mom - we felt taken care of, we felt safe and protected, we got lots and lots of good and helpful information and had a WONDERFUL, wonderful experience with the owner and his wife, who's home-baked cake I will always remember with saliva in my mouth.
