“Enjoyed a weekend at the lake!”

“House is remodeled and very clean. Can’t beat the view of the lake, the backyard and patio with fire pit. Great access to the lake and Indiana Beach nearby. The house is fully stocked with paper products, soap, detergent etc. Power went out after a bad storm and the host came with a generator to help. Power came back on. We would definitely stay here again sometime! ”

“Excellent stay! We really enjoyed how warm and cozy the home was. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard and we enjoyed giving the chickens treats! The neighbors were also very kind. Would absolutely stay here again!”

The owners were wonderful and easy to connect with, and the overall experience was even more……

“My family and I spent 3 nights at Janye’s Bass Lake house and Cabana and we all had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful, the host was a dream to work with and she thought of everything! The welcome basket with all sorts goodies was unexpected but really set the tone for a great trip, the s’mores basket was a big hit with the kids and the garage full of fun made sure there was never a dull moment. We can’t wait to go back for another visit!”

“We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location.”

“We arrived excited about our stay to open the door to piles of dirty laundry. The couch was patched together with tape, the toilet was covered in hair, the floor was sticky in the kitchen, the bathmat was dirty with grime and what might have been dog poop. The bathroom had not been swept or wiped down and was covered in dust, hair, and dirt. There were 2 packages of moldy food in the fridge. The blankets had not been washed. The pillowcases had dirty marks on them, and the extra bedding was……
