“I had a wonderful stay at the White Pine Lodge! The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The room was modest but very clean, spacious, and comfortable. “This was exactly what my family and I needed to have a wonderful stay in the U.P. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed (washer/dryer were so nice to have also!!)We enjoyed fishing on the dock (caught quite a few fish) and my kids even completed a puzzle to kill some time in the evening. There weren’t really any neighbors during our time there, which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Only complaint the amount of mosquitoes outside the cottage. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor?
