“Walking in the lobby, we were immediately hit with that “new hotel” smell. I’m not sure if they’ve had a recent remodel but it was so clean and bright. We were given our choice of floor to stay on and were taken care of swiftly. Our room was sooo clean! No scuff marks, no weird smell, no questionable linens. “This Motel 6 was relatively new so our room was modern and in good condition. No tolietries, just soap, were provided. The ice machine in the lobby was broken so I had to walk to the end of the other building where the other ice machine was. There is plenty of parking around the two buildings. “This was my first time to stay at the Sun Valley although I have been coming to Junction for years. Someone at S. Llano River State Park suggested this hotel, and I gave it a try. First, the owner who checked me in was super nice. The room was recently updated with a full walk-in shower with nice, modern tile. The room felt very clean and comfortable.
