“this is a large, tranquil property very near the entrance of portola redwoods state park. there are 3 cabins, one occupied permanently in the front by a friendly and kind man ,Michael ( and his mom),who are keeping an eye out on everything. just behind the front cabin, there is a large 3 bedroom cabin which was our base for the park, along with a tiny ,but cozy cabin that was behind it, with plenty of room to stretch out for everybody. The owners were very easy to work with, and friendly, and……

After our stay there in early August, we agreed with the other reviews that it got too hot inside during the day without air conditioning. But the evenings did cool off and there was a supply of fans. Our biggest concern was that the cleaning service used perfumed laundry soap and cleaning products that were pretty strong smelling.
