“We had a great stay! The house is clean, cozy, and very peaceful. It’s a perfect hideout with easy access to Santa Cruz and Los Gatos. There were plenty of comfortable beds and fun activities. Ernesto was very responsive and accommodating!”

“We were in the South Bay for a wedding at Nestledown and didn't want to make the drive back home after festivities. This cabin is indeed cute, definitely tucked into the forest, and couldn't be any more convenient for the wedding venue unless it was literally on site. Host was quick to respond and place was tidy and comfortable.”

“this is a large, tranquil property very near the entrance of portola redwoods state park. there are 3 cabins, one occupied permanently in the front by a friendly and kind man ,Michael ( and his mom),who are keeping an eye out on everything. just behind the front cabin, there is a large 3 bedroom cabin which was our base for the park, along with a tiny ,but cozy cabin that was behind it, with plenty of room to stretch out for everybody. The owners were very easy to work with, and friendly, and……

“Very pretty location with lovely picture window overlooking the creek and redwoods. Comfortable bed. Quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen except a wine opener is needed. Not their fault that Oct 2 was a 104 degrees but a workable A/C would have made it better. It did cool down at night so would still recommend this home. ”

“This home is beautiful! The hot tub is such a nice feature! This house worked just fine for our short stay in the area for a wedding. However, if you are looking to book a longer trip be aware that many of the cabinets in the kitchen are locked for owner use only so there is nowhere besides the counter tops tp put dry goods (the cabinets not locked are stocked though with cookware, Serveware, silverwSre, glasses, mugs, etc to use), half of the upstairs bathroom is also locked for owner use, the……

“I booked this property a year in advance because we were going to be there for work and it was a holiday weekend. We arrived in the afternoon to check in and they did not have a room for us. This was pretty catastrophic as we were starting work that night and did not have a place to take a shower and change after being in 100 degree weather all day working. The host was not helpful. Instead of trying to assist us in finding a room, he kept interrupting us when we were making calls to other……

“Overall, the little cabin at Masood’s Lodge was quaint and fairly well kept. Lots of areas set up to enjoy outside location. However, the linens or mattress in the bedroom smelled absolutely terrible (not sure if mattess had been vomited on at some point—there was no mattress pad on the bed to protect it) and did not want to use it. That is what ruined the stay for me. Everything else was fine.”

“We had a fantastic stay. The rental, the property, the amenities and the location are all fantastic. This is a perfect space for a family, with everything you need (cooking supplies, etc.) plus lot's of bonuses (beautiful hiking trails steps from the driveway, fun activities on property, and tons of kids' games and books in the unit). This is in a beautiful part of the Bay Area and feels secluded, but is close to everything. Also Bill was lovely and responsive. Thank you for a great week!”
