“Amazing views of the water ”

“Older hotel, however, updates have been made in furnishings, flooring, etc. The location is fine with the lake right behind the hotel. Perkins is down the street for a quick meal. Breakfast was minimal, not the usual cooked breakfast but had cereal, oatmeal, packaged pastries and some breakfast sandwiches you could microwave yourself. I don’t think I’d stay here again. Pillows were horrid. ”

“A well kept old home in the heart of downtown small town. Location was great, in walking distance to the marina, restaurants, beach and lighthouse. Spacious home, comfortable beds with a fabulous sunroom facing the lake sun and moon rise. Perfect for family gathering in the large back yard with fire pit. The host was friendly and responsive to all requests. We will return! ”

“Our family spent the weekend here with our kids and their grandparents. The house is nice, but the best part of this place is that it is literally on Lake Michigan and it is so beautiful. There is so much waterfront there with long sandy beach. Even in the winter, we were able to enjoy walks outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals there and there's a big living room with plenty of seating, although it is not quite as big as it looks in the photos.
