“Cozy spot right by the slopes for easy access. Ski on, or a very short drive to main parking area. Bunk beds were great for the family. HVAC a bit noisy overnight, but overcame it with some white noise.”

We enjoyed the beautiful home, relaxing in the spacious living area and kitchen, and made use of all of the amenities including the heated pool, game room, and theatre room. The surrounding hills and the brook below contributed to peaceful vacation vibes. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.”

“Very nice spot with interesting layout. The hot water heater requires an aluminum anode rod, as your mineral mix in the well is most likely high in manganese. The sulfuric stench is such that we didn’t want to use the hot water at all. I read other reviews along the same lines, so it has been brought to the owners attention, yet not remedied. Therefore, we wouldn’t stay again unless it was guaranteed that it has been fixed. ”

“We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and……

“This was our second visit to the cabin and we loved it! The back screened in porch is perfect for sitting and relaxing. The location is great if you are seeking relaxation, there are other cabins nearby but it was very quiet. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. We will be back!”

“This property was comfortable with lots of little extras to make the stay pleasant. The location was a quick drive to Chambersburg to grab some groceries/carry out or to walk the rail trail. Or you can drive a little further to Shippensburg or Caledonia. The kitchen was well equipped, the oven and stove worked well, and we found some basics in the pantry...plus some extras like a great pancake mix! We found the two larger beds to be comfortable and there are lots of blankets to choose from to……

“We had a wonderful visit for Memorial Day weekend. The house is wonderful with updated bathrooms, kitchen, W/D and even a fire pit and hot tub. Pretty much everything you need, can “unplug” if you want but we did have enough Wi-Fi for what we wanted to do. Great location, a short walk to Berkeley Springs park and pools and lots of kitschy fun shops. Several good eating places nearby and stores are convenient if you forget something. Cacapon SP a short drive away and also movies, bowling,……
