“We arrived in a very windy winter storm, the host called on our way to make sure we were aware of when the road would no longer be salted/city maintained. We made it in fine. The cabin was very quaint and quite cozy. The WiFi was down due to the storm but that just made it all the better as we were looking for a getaway from it all. We saw 5 deer in the pasture in front of cabin. The hot tub was excellent. Ample space heaters to supplement the split unit. Everything we needed to prepare……

“The house is perfectly situated near Hatley pointe ski slopes with a 7 minute drive. We saw deer daily on our drive to ski! The view from the living area and outside porches are breathtaking in the morning as the sun rises and in the evening as the sun sets over the mountains. We had 7 adults in our group that all traveled to ski, and the home perfectly suited our needs. The pool table and hot tub capped off each evening perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked to……

“We came up to serve the families of WNC who were affected by the storm. This property was great in location to access centrally from Asheville to Spruce Pine. It’s a gorgeous place inside and out. We were very surprised by the spacious rooms and porch areas. We had children from 3 to 16 and they enjoyed the bunk beds, backyard area and “secret” loft. We will definitely plan another trip to this home soon! I can only imagine how amazing it will be covered in snow. Only last minute surprise was……

“What a fun property! It was well stocked and VERY clean. We were all impressed. We stayed with another family and having three floors made it feel like we weren’t all smashed together. There were some small issues but I plan to message the host as the issues were not a deterrent at all. We would happily stay here again. ”

“Great house lots of room!! Fireplaces heated all the rooms up so quickly!! Hot tub was great! Game room was awesome! The views from the double decks amazing!!! Stunning!! The lights on the small tree out front were super cute in the snow!! Would have liked to have had a few more items in kitchen for leftovers like foil or seran wrap. And certain areas of the house were dusty with dead bugs.Overall a great time close to Hatley Pointe. My son did snowboarding lessons and it was great! We……
