“New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there.”

“Good location with plenty of off road parking. Lovely modern interior, bedroom was clean and well appointed. Food was superb and staff were friendly and helpful. A great relaxing stay.”
