“This place is a hidden gem. A few minutes outside of Sandusky, the rooms are simple yet comfortable and the grounds are a lovely place to relax, be it outside with the porches, pavilions, and firepits, or in one of the shared spaces inside. Ranae's communication was friendly, prompt, and clear. My only regret was that we didn't have more time there.”

“Penny’s property is great! Everything you need is there. Just bring your clothes and food. Everything was as stated in her listing. We had a few questions for Penny before and she was quick to respond and it was all that she said it would be. We are already talking about booking for next year once we have the dates that we need to be in Port Clinton. It’s also so convenient to Port Clinton and Camp Perry.”

“Very clean and nicely decorated with a beach theme. The rental is a part of the St. Hazards complex, but is listed as being across the road. This inaccuracy caused issue with the shuttle driver as the address given through VRBO app doesn’t match the actual physical address. The online guidelines and the rental property binder didn’t mention the hot water heater switch. We found it easy, but some folks may struggle. Outside of those issues our stay was outstanding. “Stayed twice this summer. Overall nice place, not fancy but an enjoyable get a way. There is still some broken glass that needs cleaned up (it was there last time as well). Either didn’t receive or couldn’t get the door code (internet isn’t great on the island). Thankfully, the bar tender at Hazards was able to call and get it for us. Would add some extra linens for the couch and loft.”
